Ringers (and their mallets!) will love the fun and challenge of this clever Bill Ingram original that focuses on rhythm and improvisation. The opening 14 measures are played entirely by clicking mallet sticks (or clapping) together in antiphonal style. Handbells then enter in playful syncopation. Later, a free style section gives the director the option to challenge ringers in a rhythmic game. This is one you will pull out year after year! Written in C Major and a minor, this exuberant piece is 59 measures with an option to lengthen to 67 measures. |
